Async check-ins

Friday done list

Daybook puts your team’s week on one board, asks for a 90-second check-in instead of a stand-up, and writes the done list every Friday.

Free for up to five people. No card needed.

Why Daybook

Friday

All done
  • Pricing page shipped
  • Onboarding v2 is live
  • Nora signed the renewal
Sent to #team

Most planning tools are built for four-hundred-person companies. Daybook is built for teams of three to thirty: one board for the week, a check-in that takes ninety seconds, and a done list that writes itself. Nothing to configure, nothing to groom.

Check-ins, not stand-ups

At 9am local, Daybook asks three questions. Answers land on the board, next to the work they are about.

The Friday done list

Every Friday, a list of what shipped, written from the board. Post it to Slack or send it to a client.

Today’s digest

Every day at 5:00 pm

  • 3 tasks moved to Done
  • Priya is blocked on API keys
  • Nora's call moved to Thursday
Weekends

One digest a day

No pings. One summary at the time you choose, and nothing on weekends unless you ask for it.

Notifications

Everything included

Calendar sync

Google and Outlook, two-way. Meetings show up on the board as the time they actually take.

Templates

Start the week from last week, or from a template your team wrote once and never thinks about again.

Guests

Invite a client to one board and nothing else. They see the week, not your whole workspace.

Slack and Teams

The Friday done list and the daily digest go where people already read, not into another inbox.

Time zones

Check-ins land at 9am local for everyone. Nobody answers questions at midnight.

Exports

CSV and PDF, any board, any time. Your data is yours, including after you leave.

Loved by small teams

Mia Okafor

Head of product, Lintel

“We cancelled the Monday meeting after two weeks. The board already says everything the meeting used to.”

Jonas Berg

Founder, Northwind Studio

“Clients see one board and stop emailing for updates. That alone pays for it.”

Priya Natarajan

Engineering lead, Quill

“Check-ins take ninety seconds. Stand-ups took thirty minutes and nobody listened.”

Sam Delgado

Operations, Harbor Coffee

“The Friday list is the first report anyone on my team has actually read.”

Lena Fischer

Design director, Mono

“It is the only tool where the week looks like a week. Five columns. That's it.”

Theo Marsh

CEO, Pocketplan

“Fifteen people, zero project managers. Daybook is the project manager.”

FAQ

Everything you need to know

The questions teams ask before they switch. If yours is not here, write to us and a person will answer the same day.

Yes. Up to five people, unlimited boards, forever. Paid plans add guests, integrations, and history older than 90 days.

No. It sits beside them. Engineers keep their tickets, the company keeps its chat, and the week lives in Daybook. Digests and done lists post into Slack so nobody has to open another tab.

At a time you choose, each person gets three short questions: what happened yesterday, what is planned today, and whether anything is blocked. Answers attach to the tasks they mention. Nobody has to be online at the same time.

Guests get access to a single board and nothing else. They can comment and see the Friday done list, but they never see other boards, billing, or your team's check-ins.

Export every board as CSV or PDF at any time, on any plan. Delete your workspace and it is gone within 30 days. There is no lock-in and no exit fee.

Yes, for iOS and Android. Both do check-ins, the board, and the done list. Most people do their morning check-in from their phone.
